The Platform

BFL Athlete Platform

A purpose-built training hub — far more than a workout list. Everything you need to train with intent, in one place:

Everything you see in the platform is decided by me — never generated by a system or an algorithm. Every session, every adjustment and every recommendation is a coaching decision I make myself. The platform is simply where that work lives.

01

Season Planning & Periodisation

Your whole season mapped out — base, build, peak and taper — structured around your target races.

02

Performance Analytics

Pace, fitness and trends tracked over time, so your progress is visible rather than guesswork.

03

Readiness & Recovery

Daily readiness and recovery signals that shape how hard — or how easy — each session should be.

04

Training Load Tracking

Load trends that tell us when to push while you're fresh and when to pull back before you break.

05

Workout History & Insights

Every run and session logged, analysed and searchable, with insight into what's actually working.

06

Weekly Summaries

A clear weekly recap of what you did, how it went, and what's coming next.

07

Race Countdown & Prep

Race countdowns and preparation tools that keep every key date and taper on track.

08

Personal Records

Your PRs across every distance, tracked and celebrated as they fall.

In your pocket

Your plan, your week and your numbers — on the phone you already carry.

Thursday's session open on the phone: a VO2 max workout of six 600 metre intervals, with a 15 minute warm-up, target paces for every step and the coach's notes on how each one should feel.
The week at a glance on the phone: total time and training load, runs and strength sessions completed against those planned, fitness, fatigue and form, and the split between easy, tempo and hard running.
The weekly volume chart on the phone: sixteen weeks of running distance climbing through each build block, with the recovery weeks stepping down in between.

...and this is only the beginning — the platform keeps growing.

The Process

How I Coach

01

Initial Assessment

My first task is to understand your training-related circumstances and needs completely. This starts with a consultation and questionnaire to discuss all the key information needed for the creation of an individualised plan.

02

Individual Training Plan

Next, we begin building your individualised training programme, delivered week by week through the BFL Athlete Platform and straight to your GPS watch. Each training week is constructed to achieve an optimal balance of stress and recovery in line with your needs and capacity.

03

Continual Support

Tweaks and adjustments can be made at any time to iterate the plan, and athletes are highly encouraged to provide feedback on their daily training so we can keep it aligned with how you're actually responding.

04

Technique Advice

With modern technology, I can now analyse your technique from anywhere in the world. Improving your technique will lead to more efficient training and reduce the risk of injuries.

05

Strength & Mobility

Alongside running coaching, we will start implementing strength training and teaching you drills to help improve your running form and mobility, making you a stronger, well-rounded athlete.

06

Unlimited Contact

If you have any queries, just contact me via WhatsApp or through the BFL Athlete Platform and I will get back to you within 24–48 hours. Our relationship will become a partnership, and free-flowing communication is a central part of BFL philosophy.

Honest Fit

Who This Is For

This is for you if…

  • You'll do the work consistently — not just when you feel motivated.
  • You want a plan built around your real life and current fitness, not a template.
  • You're chasing a genuine goal, from your first 5K to an ultra.
  • You'd rather hear the honest truth than comfortable reassurance.

This isn't for you if…

  • You're after a shortcut, a hack, or one magic session.
  • You'll go quiet for two weeks and then blame the plan.
  • You expect paying a coach to replace actually doing the training.
  • You're not prepared to be patient — real progress is slow and unglamorous.

What You Need:

To get the most out of coaching you need: a GPS running watch, proper running shoes, a training goal, and most importantly — consistency. Training works when you show up and do the work.

Note: Coaching is a two-way relationship — I can't be the only one working toward your goals. For this to work, I need you to be committed and self-disciplined.

Why A Coach

You're not paying me for information — you're paying for experience, judgment, and a filter.

Information is everywhere. My job is to keep you from wasting time on things that don't matter, because I've already been through it.

Time is the most valuable thing you have.
